About This Course

The next step after basic drawing. Students learn how colours behave together, how to mix what they want from a small set of paints, and how arranging things on the page changes how a picture feels.

It looks at well-known paintings to see the same ideas at work, then asks students to try them in their own pieces.

Aimed at Key Stage 2 and 3.
