About This Course

Drawing is a skill, not a talent you are born with. This course starts with looking properly, then builds through line, basic shapes, proportion and shading until students can draw an object in front of them and recognise it on the page.

All that is needed is a pencil and paper. Each section ends with a short drawing task, and students keep a sketchbook throughout.

Suitable from Key Stage 2 upwards.

He is happiest prising open a poem with a class until they find something in it nobody expected. His courses cover the set texts properly, but always with an eye on helping students write something they are actually proud of.
