About Me
James has taught primary maths for fifteen years and leads maths across a three-form entry primary school in Manchester. He specialises in the moment a child decides they are "not a maths person" — and in making sure that moment never arrives. His lessons lean heavily on practical apparatus, number talk and plenty of thinking time. He is a National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) accredited Primary Mastery Specialist.
