Grow your word power by learning new vocabulary and how to work out unfamiliar words.

A bigger vocabulary makes reading and writing easier and more interesting. When we meet a word we don't know, we can look at the words around it (the context) for clues, break the word into parts, or look it up in a dictionary.
We practise using new words in our own sentences, and look at synonyms (words with similar meanings) to make our writing more varied.
